1. About Hikaya

Hikaya by Maison Jaber ("Hikaya", "we", "us") is a personalised children's storybook service operated by Maison Jaber FZ-LLC from the United Arab Emirates. We currently accept orders for delivery in the UAE and the other GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Placing an order

To order, you choose a story, provide your child's name, age, and photo, and complete payment. You are responsible for making sure the details and photo you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use the photo (for example, it's a photo of your own child).

Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed. We'll send a confirmation email with your order details.

3. Personalisation content

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if the photo or text provided is inappropriate, offensive, does not depict a child, or infringes someone else's rights. If we decline an order for this reason, we will refund any payment already made.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in your local GCC currency and may include bundle discounts for ordering more than one book, or a discount code you apply at checkout. Payments are processed by Ziina and charged in UAE dirhams (AED); where you see prices in another currency, checkout shows the AED amount you will be charged. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

5. Delivery

Delivery is free within the UAE. Delivery fees for other GCC countries and expected delivery times are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, local postal or courier services, or incorrect address information provided at checkout.

6. Cancellations and changes

Because each book is personalised and production begins shortly after ordering, we can only accommodate cancellations or changes to personalisation details within a short window after ordering. Contact us as soon as possible if something needs to change. See our Refund Policy for more detail.

7. Intellectual property

The story text, illustrations, and design of each Hikaya book are owned by Maison Jaber. Your purchase gives you the right to own and enjoy the printed copy of your personalised book; it does not transfer any copyright or the right to reproduce, resell, or redistribute the story or illustrations.

8. Limitation of liability

We aim to make every book beautifully and accurately, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

1. عن حكاية

«حكاية من ميزون جابر» («حكاية» أو «نحن») خدمة لكتب قصص الأطفال المخصّصة، تديرها شركة ميزون جابر م.م.ح (Maison Jaber FZ-LLC) من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. نستقبل حاليًا الطلبات للتوصيل داخل الإمارات وبقية دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي (السعودية وقطر والكويت والبحرين وعُمان). باستخدامك موقعنا أو تقديمك طلبًا، فإنك توافق على هذه الشروط

2. تقديم الطلب

لتقديم طلب، تختار قصة، وتُدخل اسم طفلك وعمره وصورته، ثم تُكمل الدفع. أنت مسؤول عن صحة البيانات والصورة التي تقدّمها، وعن امتلاكك الحق في استخدام الصورة (كأن تكون صورة طفلك أنت).

يُؤكَّد الطلب بعد نجاح عملية الدفع، وسنرسل إليك رسالة تأكيد بالبريد الإلكتروني تتضمّن تفاصيل طلبك

3. محتوى التخصيص

يحقّ لنا رفض الطلب أو إلغاؤه إذا كانت الصورة أو النص المقدَّم غير لائق أو مسيئًا، أو لا يُظهر طفلًا، أو يتعدّى على حقوق شخص آخر. وإذا رفضنا طلبًا لهذا السبب، نردّ لك أي مبلغ دفعته

4. الأسعار والدفع

تُعرض الأسعار بعملة بلدك الخليجية، وقد تشمل خصومات عند طلب أكثر من كتاب، أو رمز خصم تُدخله عند إتمام الطلب. تُعالَج المدفوعات عبر Ziina وتُحتسب بالدرهم الإماراتي؛ وإن كانت الأسعار معروضة لك بعملة أخرى، فستظهر لك عند إتمام الطلب القيمة بالدرهم التي ستُخصم منك. يحقّ لنا تغيير الأسعار في أي وقت، والسعر الظاهر عند إتمام الطلب هو السعر الذي تدفعه لذلك الطلب

5. التوصيل

التوصيل مجاني داخل الإمارات. وتظهر رسوم التوصيل إلى بقية دول الخليج والمدة المتوقّعة للتوصيل عند إتمام الطلب. لسنا مسؤولين عن التأخير الناتج عن الجمارك أو خدمات البريد والتوصيل المحلية أو عن خطأ في العنوان المُدخل عند إتمام الطلب

6. الإلغاء والتعديل

لأن كل كتاب يُصنع خصيصًا ويبدأ تجهيزه بعد الطلب بوقت قصير، لا يمكننا قبول الإلغاء أو تعديل بيانات التخصيص إلا خلال فترة قصيرة بعد الطلب. تواصل معنا في أسرع وقت إن احتجت إلى تغيير شيء. لمزيد من التفاصيل، راجع سياسة الاسترداد.

7. الملكية الفكرية

نصوص القصص ورسومها وتصميم كل كتاب من كتب حكاية مملوكة لميزون جابر. يمنحك الشراء الحق في امتلاك النسخة المطبوعة من كتابك المخصّص والاستمتاع بها، ولا ينقل إليك أي حقوق نشر، ولا الحق في نسخ القصة أو رسومها أو إعادة بيعها أو توزيعها

8. حدود المسؤولية

نحرص على صنع كل كتاب بإتقان ودقّة، لكننا لا نتحمّل المسؤولية عن الخسائر غير المباشرة أو التبعية الناتجة عن استخدامك لموقعنا أو منتجاتنا، في الحدود التي يسمح بها القانون

9. تعديل هذه الشروط

قد نحدّث هذه الشروط من وقت لآخر. واستمرارك في استخدام الموقع بعد نشر التعديلات يعني موافقتك على الشروط المحدّثة
